01The challenge
What the client needed.
A hyperscale operator needed N+1 standby capacity for a Dubai data hall during a phased capacity build. The requirement: paralleled containerised generators, load-bank-proven to 110% of rated load, with documented commissioning before the IT load came online.
02Our approach
How we structured it.
- 01Four 800 kVA sound-attenuated containerised gensets specified with Deepsea synchronising controllers, sized for N+1 redundancy.
- 02Pre-mobilisation factory commissioning with the synchronisation panel, isolators and switchgear pre-wired into the cabinets.
- 03On-site paralleling test, load step response, transient analysis and 110%-rated load-bank verification, documented in a commissioning pack signed by the supervising engineer.
- 04Dedicated fuel pad and bunded bulk tank with auto-transfer pumps to support extended-run testing without site interruption.
- 05Multi-year preventive maintenance contract written against the OEM-published intervals, with telematics-enabled service alerts.
